Common questions
What is the CCAF?
The Claude Certified Architect – Foundations is Anthropic's certification for people who design and deploy solutions with Claude. It's a scenario-based exam across 5 domains. You need 720 out of 1000 to pass.
Who is the CCAF for?
Anyone who builds, recommends, or implements Claude solutions: consultants, operators, business owners, and technical folks. Our program is built for the people the official materials leave behind: non-technical professionals.
Do I need any technical background?
No. Two of our three founders don't code, and most of our 12 passing members are non-technical. You do need to learn the concepts. We teach them in plain English.
What is the cost?
Pricing will be announced at launch on November 1. Waitlist members hear first.
How long does the course take?
It depends on your starting point and study time. Full program details and pacing will be shared at launch.
Do you guarantee that I will pass?
No. We can't guarantee that you'll pass, and your result depends on the work you put in: reviewing the materials, attending sessions, and practicing. What we do offer is "pass or come back free." If you don't pass on your first try, you can join the next cohort at no cost. Details on this policy will be published when the program launches.
Can I test immediately?
Exam access is set by Anthropic. We offer an optional pathway to register through our partner organization. We'll walk you through your options when you join.
I have a technical background. Does this help me?
Yes. The exam tests judgment in real scenarios, not just coding. Technical members use our practice exams and study cards to sharpen how they read and answer scenario questions.
Your first attempt should be your only attempt.
